One more thing about The Bird...
He didn't laugh at me when I sang "I Can't Smile Without You" by Barry Manilow at his surprise birthday party 15 yrs ago and I broke into tears! While everyone else was laughing (with me I hope!) he came over, gently put his arm around me and kissed me on the forehead. I barely made it through the song but the truth is I can't smile without him...although I am learning as I get older it's important to be able to smile on our own. That is a whole 'nother post for later.
Now that is a man who loves his wife.
